At Chabad Hebrew School, Judaism is fun.
We believe that a child’s Jewish education must be creative, memorable, and enjoyable. You can be confident that our dynamic programs will educate, stimulate, and excite your child.
Our student body is made up of children from various backgrounds and affiliations. The program was created with one goal in mind - to offer all Jewish children, even those with little or no background - a fun Jewish experience, an education and memories of that will inspire them for a lifetime. Synagogue membership is not required.

At Chabad Hebrew School,

Children learn through hands on, multi sensory experiences. Art, cooking, drama, music and science! Children are so busy doing, acting, creating, playing, singing…they don’t even realize how much they are learning!

Chabad Hebrew School begins on Wednesday, September 4, 2024.​

Classes are held at Chabad of El Cerrito 704 Midcrest Way
on Wednesday afternoons from 2:30-4:15.
Early drop off is available from 2 PM.
​
We offer transportation from local schools (El Cerrito, Albany, Kensignton and parts of Berkeley).
​
Tuition is $1000 for the year, paid in full in September or in monthly installments of $120 (8% more).
Scholarships are available, no child will be turned away due to lack of funds.
We are dedicated to making the richness of our Jewish heritage accessible to every Jew, regardless of affiliation or religious observance.
